Description
Rose Park is a small Stillwater Fly Fishery in Launceston, Cornwall.with two lakes and 600m of the River Penpont open to day ticket anglers
The Lakes are fed their water supply from a small stream that runs parallel to the lakes, and also from ground water sources.
The Lakes are regularly stocked with Rainbow and Brown trout, but both lakes contain a healthy population of wild brown trout too.
The River Penpont is part of the Tamar catchment and contains a very healthy population of wild brown trout and some Grayling. The River experiences a good run of Sea trout and Salmon towards the end of the season, with Sea trout occasionally taking nymphs and dries during the day in the month of September
